Christmas Wishes: Adopt A Senior
Our inaugural Christmas Wishes campaign set out with the goal of providing a gift to each of the 570 residents we serve. Thanks to your generous donations, along with a $4,000 contribution from your Foundation we attained 70% of our target. We extend our heartfelt thanks to JFE Shoji Corporation, Power Canada Inc., Nora's Gift Foundation, Halton Regional Police Association, Stryker, and 100 Women Who Care for their invaluable support. This year, our commitment remains steadfast: we aim to reach 100% of our goal, ensuring no resident is left behind. Stay tuned!
Santa for Seniors
Halton Regional Police once again "adopted" residents of three Halton Region Long-Term Care Homes, fulfilling the Christmas wishes of more than 130 residents. This heartwarming program has been running for more than 15 years. Sincere thanks to retired officer and Willow Foundation Director Wendy Moraghan and Officer Allison Theriault, who collaborated with the Life Enrichment staff at Allendale, Post Inn Village, and Creek Way Village to make wishes come true. The Halton Regional Police Association also generously donated $1,000 to the Willow Foundation.
